CHARITABLE ENDEAVOURS

Malby Maps is passionate about corporate social responsibility. Our aim is to ‘give back’ financially and through volunteering to support both local communities in the United Kingdom and globally. Malby Maps is focused on understanding its business impact on the wider world from its conception and as it grows. Malby Maps is prepared to donate a percentage of its turnover and utilise this in a positive way to help those less fortunate from day one.

Prior to launching the website www.malbymaps.com Andrew Mottram, the founder and director of Malby Maps Limited, contacted Jane Kaye-Bailey who founded The Butterfly Tree, a UK charity and NGO in Zambia.  Andrew in 2010, together with a friend, raised a substantial amount of money for The Butterfly Tree charity by cycling from Lands
End to John O'Groats in 10 days.

Andrew had decided that Malby Maps could offer further help to The Butterfly Tree charity by donating £0.05 from every single greetings card sold through the website www.malbymaps.com

Having spent time living in a very rural and poverty stricken area in Malawi, decimated by the HIV and AIDS pandemic, Andrew and Malby Maps Limited have agreed to support The Butterfly Tree. The charity assists rural communities in Zambia that are also badly affected by the HIV and AIDS pandemic. The Butterfly Tree provides safe water, feeding programs, improved health and education facilities and an orphan sponsorship program. As a charity, The Butterfly Tree, do not have any overheads, no glamorous London HQ and therefore all funds go directly to the cause.

Jane Kaye-Bailey and The Butterfly Tree charity team of volunteers do an outstanding job volunteering and making the lives of those less fortunate far happier. They provide hope where there was once no hope. Don't just take our word for it please visit their website and see for yourselves the difference that The Buttefly Tree charity really is making to thousands of lives in Zambia. www.thebutterflytree.org.uk
